Recently (as in for the last week) I have only left my room for essentials, such as food and meetings with supervisors. However, according to my lovely supervisor, Amanda, doing this is not a great idea. She suggested this may have been the cause of the fever I have (off and on) been running.
Not leaving one's room and staring at a computer screen for days on end, apparently, is hazardous to one's health. Go figure. Mom does this everyday, and she never runs a fever. Here's all the advice that I want to give on the subject:
1. Don't leave your place of residence. (Preferably, don't stare at your computer all day, though.)
2. If you must leave occasionally, then WASH YOUR HANDS constantly...
3. And don't do this:

In this tense time we all must make sacrifices. And yes, this includes any hobbies that include pig-licking. =)

And what is tripe????
It's a dish of cow's stomach. It also comes in sheep, pig, goat, or deer varieties. Tasty, right?
