Visa is Done!!

After many confusion and stress I have my student visa done!! Yeah! The first visa the British Consulate sent had an expiration date a month before my classes even ended. It all came down to the confusing acceptance letter. No where on it does it say that my classes end in September. It says the course ends in June, so they expired it in July. Well, if I kept it this way I would miss my last month of classes and my graduation in December. Not okay with me. So I had the university email me a clearer letter explaining all this. I had to highlight the changes and send my visa back with the explanation of the changes I needed done and why. I was SO stressed. I got my visa back early this morning and the expiration was correctly done for January 31, 2010. Thank God that is done. Now I just have to pack. For real this time. I have less than a month and this all still feels surreal.

Here is my acceptance letter that I have been waiting over a month for. I needed this to send to the visa officials, and the university hadn't even sent it yet. So frustrating! Anyway, it got here yesterday and I sent off my visa information hours later and the British Consulate in LA should have it today. So, Yeah! I'm done with paperwork for now and I just have to sit and wait for my student visa to arrive. Now I have to plan what I will pack.
